This lecture showed us the difference between Imperative programming (peanut butter and jelly sandwich) and interactive programming (Restaurant). We also talked about basic programming design, rules and scheme's. The process of choice's which have to be made (in a loop) are called conditionals. Another topic were algorithms which are the steps which have to be made (in programm) to solve a problem.

In our first lecture we talked about the definition and the very basic elements of informatics, computing and programming. We (IMI) defined our function in the business world, and talked about our strengths. This lecture was also about the very basic functionality of computers. Another topic was the Java Compiler (basics) and an overview of different types of programming languages.
